The MP4-12C is the first what we may call as a McLaren sports car since the production of F1 of 1994. It worth around the range of £168,500, and yet it is constructed with a carbon chassis that is normally used for cars costing twice as much. It runs on a complex hydraulic suspension set-up and is powered by a brand new engineered McLaren-designed a V8 engine and dual-clutch transmission.

The McLaren MP4-12C's basic specifications are 595bhp, 443lb ft and 1435kg. With those engine, the McLaren can do an easy 62mph in 3.3 sec and the rival such as Ferrari will do just 3.4sec. But by the time they get to 124mph (200km/h approx), the 12C has managed to pulled out a 1.3sec a head of his rivalry, claims McLaren. Suspension mode can be adjusted to Normal, Sport and Track and you can adjust the system pressure, so adjusting the amount of roll and ride comfort.

Driving the car in Normal Mode on the road and the ride is better than some any other sport cars or luxurious cars. Thanks to a well controlled suspensions. Track mode is too stiff for an ordinary road but, as the name track, is ideal for the circuit purposes where it can give the car massive stability. Sport mode is a blend of both normal and track mode, that makes it the best of all round mode.

Equally magnificent is what we call Brake Steer, an ESP-system which is inspired by the F1 technology some years ago. What it does is, it helps the car in braking so that the car can bend more easily on narrow road or narrow track, minimizing understeer. Steer into the corner using steering assist and you can really feel the car as the brake steer does it things.
