2014 Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG

The Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG’s has a 2.0-litre engine and producing a massive 355bhp with turbo, the car can be pushed from 0-60mph in just approximately 4.7 seconds, and we’ve the chance to drive it for the firsttime in the UK.

Beside from the different body shape, the A45 and CLA 45 are all identical considering all manufactured by the mercedes. All that massive power has been produced can be delivered to all four of the wheels effectively, meaning that we'll get maximum traction. Although it's also depends on what short of tyres we use.

The acceleration is magnificent, too, each time we do gearshifting on the car we can hear smooth yet soft roar on the special muffler that was put on the car. The ride was a standard of another CLA class, with a touch of AMG class.

Despite the 19-inch alloy wheels and suspensions was customized for better roll control and stiffness, the ride remains on the right side when we try to drove it. It’s really firm, but in a matter of  thatthe car is considered as sporty rather than racing, and the car handling on tarmac was top of the line. The steering handle was not wobbly and remains firm, and this might be the reason why the CLA was not as responsive as the CLA. That surely the CLA version has it's audience.

The CLA just like the A45 provides a touch of comfort and having a pretty large space, although the rear seats are rather smaller but still can have enough legroom and some passenger space to have a n ease of access. The driving position is fair enough, and as for the cabin, the design fit and finishes are surely better than any standard cars. AMG badge, sporty seating and digitilized instrumentation was an addition to the car.

2014 Mercedes-Benz G-Class

2014-Mercedes-Benz G-Class

One word best describes the Mercedes-Benz G-Class is extreme. The 2014 G-Class is among the foremost capable SUVs ever created. Dearly known as the “G-Wagen” from the German Gelandewagen (cross-country car), it's rugged to the water environment, protection differentials and therefore the ability to climb or descend an improbable 80 percent incline. Inside, Mercedes' final all-terrain bike is as luxurious as you'd expect for SUV cost accounting over $115,000. Just like the  Rover or a high-end Porsche Cayenne, most consumers can never use their G-Wagen to a fraction of its capabilities. However such principle matters very little. For this elite set, the rationale to possess a Mercedes G is far just like the vehicle itself: It's all concerning being extreme. By its rough and rugged appearance alone you'll be able to accurately surmise that the 2014 Mercedes-Benz G550 SUV is not a corner-carver. Its raised center of gravity and weight in way over 5,500 pounds disqualify this ultra-premium SUV from turning on a dime. Its steering and brake feel are refined and of top-grade. For its bulk, the G-Wagen is amazingly fast in a very line.

2014-Mercedes-Benz G-Class
Its V8 engine permits the G550 to hit sixty mph in concerning six seconds. In route and around-town driving the G-Class feels easier to manage than you would possibly expect. It is a lot of doubtless to ramble urban center, wherever the G-Class really excels is much off the overwhelmed path. Few house owners can use it as so, however the G-Class remains a very formidable cross-country machine. The G-Class's interior is another story. This can be still a Mercedes, after all, and a 6-figure one at that. Its cabin is sort of entirely handcrafted and options premium animal skin that covers the seats and dash. Polished wood and chrome accents abound.

Controls are a fine mixture of utilitarian (the 3 outstanding locking-differential buttons displayed front and center) and stylish (a crisp, 7-inch tablet-style command screen). The G's square form suggests that headroom is much unlimited, however taller occupants may need for a lot of legroom. The Manufacturer’s advised Retail worth (MSRP) of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is simply over $115,000 for the G550 and first-rate $136,000 for the G63 AMG. At these costs, the G-Class is among the highest-priced SUVs out there. Rivals at these worth points embody the Porsche Cayenne Turbo (roughly $111,000) and Cayenne Turbo S ($147,000), and biography editions of the Land Rover ($136,000).  As for marketing worth, we tend to expect the G-Class to retain its worth higher than the Rover, furthermore the Porsche Cayenne, that last year was topped as Best Luxury Mid-Size SUV/Crossover Awards.

Mercedes Benz CL Series

Mercedes Benz CL 63

The Mercedes Benz CL coupe, has undergone a bit of restyling at the front and rear, although the more substantive changes are under the long hood. Both the CL550 and the CL63 AMG have new, smaller V8 engines (although that is not reflected in their names). But never fear, masters of the universe. Despite the downsizing, the new engines are significantly more powerful than their predecessors. The CL550 engine has gone from 5.5 liters to 4.7 liters, but it gains two turbochargers and direct injection. Output jumps by 47 hp to 429 hp, and torque increases by nearly a third. As before, output flows through a seven speed automatic transmission to all four wheels. The Cl550  is the only big Mercedes coupe with 4matic. The CL63's powertrain features even more changes and ushers in a new era for AMG. The old 6.2 liters normally aspirated V8 gives way to a new twin turbo, direct injected 5.5 liters, an update that will eventually come to all of AMG's 63 models. Standard output is 536 hp and 590 lb ft of torque. The CL 63 has AMG's seven speed speedshift transmission, which uses a wet clutch in place of a torque converter. Seen previously in the SL63 and the E63, the gearbox here has a different clutch pack and new software and is better mannered. Not only does it snap off superquick gearchanges and match revs on downshifts, but it now also equals the smoothness of a torque converter automatic when taking off from a stop. Speaking of stops, the CL63 incorporates an auto stop/start function, this is first time for Mercedes. It should give a real boost to fuel economy and indeed, preliminary EPA estimates for the CL63 are 15/21 mpg, significantly better than the 2010 models.

Besides their new powertrains, the big coupe's driving experience is little changed. The air sprung CL550 is nearly as compliant as an S class. With its standard Active Body Control, the CL63 is a bit stiff legged over bad pavement, but the upside is iron fisted body control. The Cl63 has essentially no body roll, and for such a heavy machine it's also amazingly resistant to understeer.
