The BWM X5 is a car that defines itself as a luxury SUV (Sport Utility Vehicle). Being in this segment was started off by the X5 first generation back in the 1999 featured 4x4 in the UK market. It was the first generation of the X5 comes in either manual and automatic transmission. However the 2nd generation of the X5 was realesed in the year of 2006 with all wheel drive transmission.

This lux SUV comes in many different models such as the rear-wheel drive X5 sDrive35, the all-wheel drive xDrive35i, special for this model is using a 3.0 liter twin-turbo inline six laying down 300 hp and 300 lb ft of torque. Other models are the higher-end X5 xDrive50i which is using a 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 producing 445 hp and 480 lb-ft of torque. However BMW also produces the diesel model we call her xDrive35d and features a 3.0 liter twin turbo inline-six diesel engine with 255 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.

Being a luxurious SUV, the BMW had a sophisticated dshboards along with driver information system that is very handy. Featuring  a smart gps with  traffic info and route suggestions. To add the comforts of the passenger BMW has placed a computated applications which allow both driver and passenger to access essential tools such as Twitter and Facebook, but only if he or she owns an iPhone.

Inside, the X5 interior shows very sleek yet so luxurious leather for the seats, The gear selector is positioned on the center console unlike other SUV which is placed at the bottom of the console, and the BMW offers nice audio setups too to please us with a top of the line, 1200-watt, Bang & Olufsen system.
